OPUS 12 Research Team - Your Research Team - The Future

  • Future plans for our Research Team include expansion to include a dedicated bio-statistician and a biomedical protocol expert.
  • Our Science Team is currently working on establishing a 1-year Research Fellowship for interested physicians, nurses, and physician assistants. This program will feature a rich combination of bioprotocol, biostatostics, and clinical research practical experience. We plan to start with one position per year, with target enrollment of 2-3 Research Fellows per year.
  • The OPUS 12 Foundation Research Team is working to establish a network of multiple institutions that would participate in OPUS 12 Foundation-coordinated trials on permanent or semi-permanent basis.
  • Such network could allow investigators at a single institution to significantly expand and enhance their existing research projects by extending participation to multiple research sites. Although this would require the originating research team to share their ideas and authorship with others, mechanisms would be in place to ensure that principal authorship remains with the originating team.
